Undoubtedly, many of the world's best hotels are located in Las Vegas.  If one walks down the Strip, one can see all kinds of hotels.

(Wow it's been a WHILE since I wrote the last article...)

While we were at Las Vegas, we had time to spare in the morning to go see the Hoover Dam.  It is on the border of Arizona and Nevada.

Its water was very clear and tempting.  It was so hot out, I wanted to jump in although I do not know how to swim!

When we were done and enjoyed more Vegas night, we decided to have some time off.  We headed to our hotels bar on the lobby floor and had some cocktail.

Although not as well known, Bryce Canyon, I can proudly say, is BETTER than the Grand Canyon!!

These pictures will tell the truth!

Along with the Yellowstone National Park and the Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon is the world-famous, the wonders of nature place where almost everyone has seen a picture of.

It was incredibly... ... GRAND!! So big that it looked as if I was looking at a big painting.  I could not possibly feel that it was real.  Too big for me to fathom.

However, it came true when my cousin and I walked over to a cliff and jumped over to a large rock!  Life threatening, but could not miss the once-in-a-lifetime experience of ... risking life to take a picture with a cool scenery.

We were not the first ones there.  In fact, there was a guy standing there first!  He inspired us.

We also got on a trail to go down the Grand Canyon.  It was a bit slippery due to the icy snow, but it also allowed a small thing like myself to wonder the greatness of nature.

(That is where we went!!)

Universal Studios, one of the major film makers of Hollywood has a theme park of their own.  Their famous train tour, Jurassic Park and the Mummy.  They were all very enjoyable.  Fun enough to attract millions of people every year.

The most impressive of all, was the tour that is about 40 minutes long.  People get on a train-like cars and is led by a funny guide who takes people around the park.  It visits a lot of actual film sites, and the guide explains and demonstrates the technology that was used in filming (experiences that you can only encounter in Hollywood).

Knott's Berry Farm is one of the four amusement parks in L.A. area along with the Disney Land, Universal Studios and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

It was the closest of the four and the cheapest.

They had a deal where if a person bring two canned food, they give 50% off.  So, with seven canned foods, we bought the ticket really, really cheap.  And stayed until they closed!

We were too busy having fun; we did not take many pictures.

Almost 90 degrees!!!

(my cousin wet after that ride)

(GREAT shot no??)

(Knott's Berry Farm mimics the old West of the U.S.)

(Chicken Noodle Soup at THE oldest restaurant in Knott's Berry Farm)

(They give you these breads for free to try their Knott's Berry Farm jams... they were EXTREMELY good!!)

Visited the Sea Port Village, which is located right where the downtown of San Diego is.

Its night scenery was great, but my digital camera was not good enough to capture the greatness of its night.

(At the end of the day, I got to hang out with some of my best friends!!)

My girl cousin had been crying for beach since we got to San Diego. So, I asked my old host parents if I could use their new Prius. They gladly said that I could, so we went to the famous La Jolla (pronounced 'La Hoya') Cove.

It was said to be one of the prettiest in San Diego, and it indeed was!

Went to shopping to Fashion Valley. Got a late birthday present for a friend of mine at the Apple Store. Then did nothing.

We were too tired from travelling in the East and took that day off.

I went to see my old friends from high school. We went to Viejas, which is an Indian casino in San Diego.

It felt a bit weird because when we were hanging out, we used to play basketball and eating out. But now, we could go to a casino together!

I played $1 blackjack and doubled my money. $10->$20.

2 for 2 in blackjack. Total: +$50!!!
