Tour de Amérique - Day 1 - Niagara Falls
<<19 December 2009>>
The Niagara Falls are located between the tween cities of Niagara Falls, NY and Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is one of the biggest falls in the world and is said to be the most powerful one in the North America.
The tour started with getting on the bus to Midway airport at 0900. After two and a half hours of a boring and tiring bus ride, we were finally able to eat and rest a bit. Compared to O'Hare, Midway is very small, but the airport was very clean and had some good restaurants.
After about an hour of airplane ride, we got to Detroit, MI. We had to wait another hour for the plane to Buffalo, NY. Then, we got hungry again and bought a Wedge-Cut Fries. It was one of the best fries I have tried.
The restaurant was called Fuddruchers. Who knows what in the world that means. Supposedly, it is popular in the Michigan areas.
We knew that Niagara Falls is notorious for its coldness, and we were prepared for that.
I wish I had a better digital camera, but good enough...
This is where people officially enter Canada after an admission by an official.
Unlike the U.S., you only have to be 19 to go to casinos. So, we did.
This is how much we left with! $35 USD each... We hoped to come back with at least a half of that... (results of gambling later)
Guess what the hotel we went to was called.
"Casino"
The inside was very nice. As clean as it gets, as crowded as it gets, and as exciting as it gets. I had to pee before entering to the casino because I was too excited for it.
We ended up watching other tables play for an hour until we started. We were there for about three hours total. A lot of fun!!
(Night view of the Niagara Falls from the Canadian side)
(Look at the ground. It was like the boiling water)
(The bin was all iced from the moisture it got from the falls)
(Seop trying out the iced-up leaves)
(Bunch of weird looking leaves from the ground)
(Another tree that was Caucasian as hell)
(The-White-Girls-Are-the-Shit boys)
On the way home, we saw these South American guys taking a picture in front of the Joker. After taking a picture together, they shouted aloud "TWGATS"
And finally,
Victorious I was. I changed $30 USD to Canadian Dollars. Played black jack. Came home with $75.25.
Food ($9.53 + $5.47) + Room ($31.81) + Luggage Check-in ($13.33) + Airfare ($133.20) = $193.34
